Our Story

MJJ Designs was founded in August of 2003, as a one-man operation. What began as a passion of owner Mike Jandreau, quickly became a full-fledged business.

For years, Mike worked alone as a designer, developer, project manager, and he wore many other hats.

In 2009, he brought on a number of teammates to help with the expanding clientele and to work on more complex projects that he recognized he couldn’t handle himself.

In 2019, the team is six strong, managing a portfolio of dozens of websites’ daily updates, security and maintenance.

Our process.

Design

The first step in your new website is design. Our designer and project manager will meet with you to discuss your needs, desired outcome, and gather information about what features and functionality you’d like on your new website.

Our design team focuses primarily on websites, but can also provide design work for brochures, packaging design, banners, online advertisements, and more.

Development

Once the design is complete and signed off on, our designer hands the assets over to our development team, who get to work implementing your new design into working prototypes of your site.

During this process, our teams work together to ensure the proper functionality is in place, along with maintaining your precise designs.

QA

Once development’s complete, our entire team will perform QA (Quality Assurance). This process is tedious but necessary. It’ll ensure your site not only looks correct in all major web browsers and on all mobile devices and tablets but that it functions properly as well.

As we complete QA, we’ll send you a temporary preview link to check out the site yourself to ensure you’re satisfied before we go live with the site for the public.

Deployment

After you’ve signed off on everything, we’ll go live with your site, deploying it to your domain name for the public to see.

During this process, we’ll also archive your existing site (and provide a copy to you, if you want), set a restore point (in case you need to revert to launch day) and make sure you’re fully satisfied.

Maintenance

Once live, you’ll be able to manage your website from the backend. If you don’t want to, we have a number of options available for purchase where we’ll take care of any and all changes you need.

Our maintenance plans also include security patches, maintenance, content management, and WordPress upgrades. If you need any further feature enhancements or additions, we’ll discuss separate pricing for those.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

We guarantee that you’ll be satisfied with our work and working with us.  We won’t rest until you’re 100% happy with the project and will not bill your final invoice until you sign off on the project.

We’re selective about the projects we take on. We may not be the right fit for everyone looking for a website.
